Having previously heard 'Black Sun' from the forthcoming Kintsugi, Death Cab For Cutie change up the pace with the opening track 'No Room In Frame'.
It's a minimalistic and melancholic track, that addresses lead singer Ben Gibbard's failed marriage and divorce from Zooey Deschanel, and yet, somehow, it still manages to sound up beat with lyrics like "Was I in your way? When the cameras turned to face you/No room in frame for two".
Gibbard says of the track "It's kind of a travelling song" and it definitely shows through. While he might not be running from his past or his time in LA, he's trying his best to move forward, but it's still hard not to look back.
