*Tap tap* "...Is this thing on?"
A little while ago my old mate Christy cornered me in a dingy Wetherspoons and asked if I would be interested in doing a podcast. I jumped at the chance, without another word needed to convince me. He also managed to track down the elusive Hanra and lured us both down to Tooting. It was kind of like the opening of Ocean's Eleven, except Christoph O'Clooney didn't recruit us for our niche skills, he just knew we'd be happy to sit in a room and chat shit for a few hours at a time.
Armed with nothing more than a few bevs and a desire to play some obscure music, the SESHWYN ROAD PODCAST was born.
Now we're into our second year of broadcast (don't question my maths), we decided to wrap up the widely scorned 2016 and focus on the good parts, namely the bangers that were released during an otherwise dark year.
As well as being a good way to spend time with my mates, the podcast also is also working wonders for my productivity. What's the easiest way for a lazy writer to still impart his opinions? Stick a microphone in front of him and hope somebody out there listens.
Also if you're particularly taken by any of tracks played on the episode then a Spotify playlist can be found right here, and if you want to listen to our previous episodes, they can be found below (Number 1 & Number 2).
Shout out again to Christy on the ones & twos and Hanra on the pistachios, and thanks to anyone who has taken the time to listen to us three ramble. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy making it, let us know if you have any themes or suggestions below.
Happy 2017 everybody.
